What a difference one phone call can make!

What a difference one phone call can make!

I can't believe how calm I was when we got the phone call from my husband D'Arcy's Cardiologist today, two months ago he had a defibulator and a pacemaker implanted to assist his heart. There had been plans to do further surgery but after the latest tests just two days ago the Dr is sure that D'Arcy would not make it through, his heart just couldn't handle it.

Two months ago I would have freaked and been a total mess at this news. With all the training, listening and reading other peoples lessons my Faith has become stonger than ever. Since I have been doing the Mental Cleanse and reading this chapter for the second time I am realizing how strong my Faith has become.
Not only the Faith I have that I am going in the right direction in building my business but in all things in my life.

When I heard the news this morning I realized I can do nothing to change this situation, I turned every thing over to the "Lord" and have Faith that he will be there for both of us. D'Arcy feels well, looks great and I cherish every day we have together. We have decided that life will go on, we will enjoy every day we have and live in the Now. What more can we ask for, we both have a strong Faith in God and that is all we need.

Thank you all for sharing your stories and life happenings, God Bless you All.

This was written by my good friend Dorothy Pagan. Dorothy is a real inspiration to me! When the going gets tough I just think of Dorothy, and all seems to be better!

Thank You Dorothy for being such a wonderful friend!

A HANDFUL OF LEMONS

If life hands you a handful of lemons then don't complain about it,but instead fix up some lemonade and sell it to those who are thirsty from all that complaining.

Wally Amos, the man whom many consider to be the father of the gourmet cookie industry, has turned lemons into lemonade so often in his life that in his official portrait he holds a pitcher in one hand and a glass of lemonade in the other. A perennial optimist, Amos refuses to acknowledge that obstacles are anything other than stepping-stones to success. In a career that has spanned several decades, he has made it to the pinnacle of success several times, only to lose everything and be forced to start over. But he’s never lost faith. "You have to have the trust and faith to let go and not agonize," he says. "Don’t waste your time worrying. Worry is not preparation. Analyze the situation and focus on solutions. There is always an answer.

How many times have you sat there worrying and stressing over something that you may not even be able to contol at that moment in time. I know I sure have. There was a time when I didn't know how we were going to come up with the money to pay our utlilies, and so I found myself stressing to the point of tears. My son then told me to sit down and write out some solutions that we could put into place. I took his advice and the solutions worked!

WHY DO SOME PEOPLE SUCCEED WHILE OTHERS FAIL ?

Hello again everyone. Lately I have been studying about the brain, conscious mind as well as only focusing on the seven positive emotions that Napolean Hill talks about in his book Think and Grow Rich.

Then I can accross this brillant article by Earl Nightingale. This makes total sense to me.

George Bernard Shaw said, "People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, they make them."
Well, it's pretty apparent, isn't it? And every person who discovered this believed (for a while) that he was the first one to work it out. We become what we think about.
Conversely, the person who has no goal, who doesn't know where he's going, and whose thoughts must therefore be thoughts of confusion, anxiety and worry - his life becomes one of frustration, fear, anxiety and worry. And if he thinks about nothing... he becomes nothing.
How does it work? Why do we become what we think about? Well, I'll tell you how it works, as far as we know. To do this, I want to tell you about a situation that parallels the human mind.
Suppose a farmer has some land, and it's good, fertile land. The land gives the farmer a choice; he may plant in that land whatever he chooses. The land doesn't care. It's up to the farmer to make the decision.
We're comparing the human mind with the land because the mind, like the land, doesn't care what you plant in it. It will return what you plant, but it doesn't care what you plant.

Now, let's say that the farmer has two seeds in his hand- one is a seed of corn, the other is nightshade, a deadly poison. He digs two little holes in the earth and he plants both seeds-one corn, the other nightshade. He covers up the holes, waters and takes care of the land...and what will happen? Invariably, the land will return what was planted.

As it's written in the Bible, "As ye sow, so shall ye reap."
Remember the land doesn't care. It will return poison in just as wonderful abundance as it will corn. So up come the two plants - one corn, one poison.
The human mind is far more fertile, far more incredible and mysterious than the land, but it works the same way. It doesn't care what we plant...success...or failure. A concrete, worthwhile goal...or confusion, misunderstanding, fear, anxiety and so on. But what we plant it must return to us.

You see, the human mind is the last great unexplored continent on earth. It contains riches beyond our wildest dreams. It will return anything we want to plant.

If you put positive emotions into your mind then you will reap positive results. This makes it very simple to understand why some folks have negative things happen to them in their business and in their life.

If you think you can build a large organization with the help of team work and education...then you can. If you think that no one wants to join you or buy your products.....then that will happen too.

The lesson learned here for me is I must watch what I put into my mind and keep these seven positive emotions desire, faith, love, sex, enthusiasm, romance, hope, and if you like to add an eighth emotion.....prosperity.

Have a great week

WHAT'S IN YOUR SUB-CONSCIOUS??

Eric was a brillant math teacher who could remember facts and figures really well, and he possesed the ability to work any kind of Algberaic equation that was thrown at him. This guy was totally into the colledge life and studied anything he could get his hands on, but math was his favorite subject.

Eric was using the smart part of his brain known as the conscious part, which is the size of a small orange.

Eric also has a stupid part of his brain called the sub-conscious and is as dumb as a box of rocks and the size of the entire world. This part of Eric's brain makes all the decisions in about three seconds flat.

The sub-conscious mind does not know right from wrong or left from right, truth from lie and in order to own your life all you need to do is program your mind with these 7 positive emotions that Hill talks about in his book Think and Grow Rich.

#1. Desire.
#2. Faith.
#3. Love.
#4. Sex.
#5. Enthusiasm.
#6. Romance.
#7. Hope.

So what are you waiting for?? Get busy programing your life for succeess! You can do it! I am!

Oh...I almost forgot to let you in on the secret...is to only focus on these positive emotions and when a negative emotion shows up, immediatly replace it with one of these 7 positive emotions.
